Symi island in Greece is a part of the Dodecanese island group, in the southeastern Aegean Sea. It is a small island with a population of around 2,500 people. Despite its small size, Symi is renowned for its traditional sponge diving industry and rich history in shipbuilding. On the island, you can enjoy shopping, dining, and exploring the colorful neoclassical mansions and charming alleys. Also, this Greek island has many popular attractions that visitors love. One of the most famous attractions on the island is Panormitis Monastery (the Monastery of Archangel Michael), where you will have approximately 1-hour of free time for your individual visit.
